This Privacy Policy describes how Diaclopedia (the "Service Provider") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use the Diaclopedia mobile application (the "Application").

The Service Provider collects information to provide and improve the Service. This includes:

• Personal Information (via Social Login): When you register via Social Login (Google, Apple), we collect your email address, display name, the social login provider (Google/Apple), and a unique identifier provided by the platform.
• Service Usage Information: Your point balance, ad-free period, and in-app purchase records (order ID, product ID, purchase time).
• Automatically Collected Information: Device information (OS version, model name, app version), access logs, crash logs, and service usage records.
• Advertising Identifiers: We may collect ADID (Android Advertising ID) or IDFA (Apple Identifier for Advertisers) to provide personalized advertisements through AdMob.

2. Use of Information

The Service Provider uses the collected data for various purposes:

• To provide and maintain the Application.
• To notify you about changes to the Service.
• To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
• To monitor the usage of the Application and prevent fraudulent activity.
• To serve personalized advertisements and analyze their effectiveness.

3. Data Storage and International Transfer

The Service Provider transfers your personal information internationally in order to operate the Service. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

• Recipient: Google LLC (United States)
• Destination: The United States and Google's global data centers
• Transfer Timing and Method: At the time of each service interaction, transmitted over the network
• Items Transferred: Email address, display name, social login identifier, device information, access logs, advertising identifier (ADID/IDFA), crash logs, in-app purchase records
• Purpose: Authentication (Firebase Authentication), data storage (Cloud Firestore), personalized advertising (AdMob), usage analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase), crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics)
• Retention Period: In accordance with the Service Provider's retention policy, applicable law, and Google's service terms

Data protection laws in the destination countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Users located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other regions with applicable data protection laws retain the rights granted under those laws.

4. Third-Party Services

5. Retention and Destruction of Data

The Service Provider retains your personal information for as long as your account remains active. Upon account deletion or when the data is no longer required for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, your personal information is stored in a separate, isolated environment and then permanently deleted or anonymized within 30 days. Information that the Service Provider is required to retain under applicable law will be kept for the period prescribed by such law and will not be used for any other purpose.

6. Children's Privacy

The Application is intended for users who are 14 years of age or older. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 without verifiable parental or legal guardian consent. If a child under 14 wishes to use the Service in a jurisdiction that requires such consent (including the Republic of Korea), the consent of a parent or legal guardian is required. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us so that we can delete the information promptly.

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time. You may also opt-out of personalized advertising by adjusting your mobile device settings:

• Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Reset/Opt-out of Ads Personalization.

The Service Provider values your trust in providing us your Personal Information. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and the Service Provider cannot guarantee its absolute security.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
